After years of planning and nearly a year of construction, we were overjoyed to finally open our doors to the public at our grand opening and ribbon cutting in March! To celebrate all of the time and hard work that went into the planning and opening of our new venue, we couldn’t wait to throw a party for the public and invite folks from near and far to celebrate this milestone alongside us.

As members of the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, the first order of business was an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Snipping that ribbon (with enormous scissors!) was a symbolic and meaningful gesture for our family, and having our children participate in the ceremony was especially significant. We are a family business through and through, and each member of our family – including all three of our kids – have been a part of this process ever since we broke ground in April of 2022. It was so exciting for us all to commemorate our opening together, and in such a tangible way. Many thanks to the local Chamber for all of their support and help along the way, and we look forward to working with them in the years to come.

The evening would not have been nearly as festive and fun without the generosity of our amazing event sponsors! No party is complete without food and drink, which is why we felt so fortunate to partner with some of our community’s best vendors for the evening.

Delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvres were prepared and served by Village Catering Company, a local gem and staple in the catering industry for Wooster and beyond. Their delicious small plates and professional service were enjoyed by all! Village Catering has decades of experience providing delicious food for events of all sizes across Northeast Ohio and every member of their expansive team is a joy to work with.

Miss Amy’s Bakery, an incredible gourmet and small-batch bakery, provided a stunning dessert bar that satisfied every sweet tooth. Miss Amy’s crafts genuinely unique and delicious treats, featuring all sorts of flavor and texture profiles. Going far beyond the typical wedding cake, Miss Amy’s provides a unique and memorable dessert experience that is as every bit as beautiful as it is tasty. Miss Amy herself is a generous and joyful presence, and having her partner with us for our grand opening was such a delight.

Drinks flowed freely, and craft cocktails were toasted – complements of The Thirsty Philly – an amazing mobile bar with beautiful displays and hand-crafted beverages. Serving all of Northeast Ohio from their converted vintage horse trailers, The Thirsty Filly goes above and beyond with high-quality ingredients, unique concoctions, and full-service bartending done in a professional and polished way. We felt so lucky to have Gregory from The Thirsty Filly as a part of our evening, busily exuding friendliness and hospitality while pouring drinks for all.

Decor for the evening was kept sweet and simple, allowing our space’s natural features and architecture to shine for themselves. A collection of boho-inspired muted florals, engraved wood tones, and minimalist graphics came together for a cohesive collection of elevated event decor. Laser cut signage and wooden graphics were designed and provided by Gladfolk, a local graphic design and production company.

Our gorgeous copper arch was provided by All Events Rental, a staple in the community for all of your various event rental needs – including chairs, linens, vintage props, table settings, and more! A hearty thanks to All Events Rental for their provision of that statement piece on our big night – we had a blast crafting a cozy feature for photo ops under the arch!

After many months of construction, planning, dreaming, and more – it was truly a joy to see our brand new space filled with friendly faces, to hear music and laughter, and to connect with local community members and industry friends. We toasted in celebration; of both the completion of an enormous project, as well as our hopes for the future.

We want to thank Morton Buildings and Prosser Construction And Design for their work on this project, as well as all of the local contractors who contributed their skills toward getting this venue off the ground. Additionally, we are so grateful to the Chamber of Commerce for their support, and for co-hosting the ribbon-cutting with us for our grand opening. The night would not have been nearly as beautiful or delicious without the contributions of our sponsors, including All Events Rental, Village Catering Company, Miss Amy’s Bakery, and The Thirsty Philly. Ericka Karazsia of The Everyday [PIC]tory captured the magic and beauty of the evening with her photography work, for which we are so grateful.
